We offer a wide range of finishes and colors (38 shades that include the entire chromatic scale), complying with the international standards of the sector or supporting the customer in the design phase for a dedicated calibration of the treatment.

Aesthetic finishes for aluminum and light alloys

In addition to guaranteeing high technical performance, thanks to the anodizing treatments, aluminum can be treated on the surface with a series of finishes that improve the visual appearance and aesthetics of the final product.

The coloring of aluminum is one of the steps in the anodizing treatment: Minicolor achieves it with the use of guaranteed organic pigments Clariant®, world leader in the production of dyes. Our company offers a range of finishing and coloring treatments in 38 color shades that include the entire chromatic scale, from traditional nuances to original colors created upon customer request.

Colorless and colored protective anodizing in 38 shades: the treatment guarantees protection and resistance to corrosion, giving the aluminum a long-lasting aesthetic finish thanks to the use of Clariant® guaranteed dyes. Since it is a penetration color, it will remain unchanged over time. The treatment reaches oxide layer thicknesses from 5 to 25 μm, complies with the UNI EN ISO 7599:2018 / DIN17611 international standards and with the MIL-A-8625F type II class 1 and 2 standard;

Aluminum surface finishes performed in the preliminary stages of the anodizing treatment of a chemical nature including:

Chemical polishing to give greater shine to the detail;

Chemical satin finish to dull the surface of the piece.

Aluminum surface finishes performed prior to the anodizing treatment of a mechanical nature including:

Sandblasting and shot peening to provide uniformity of the surface and give a matt appearance, silky to the touch;

Mechanical brushing to remove residual impurities on the rough surface and make it aesthetically uniform, giving the product new linearity.

Protective anodizing for sand, chill and die-castings: specific cycles are performed for die-casting parts where there is a high percentage of silicon, offering maximum protection against corrosion. Specific treatments have been created for products that will be used in the marine environment and which will therefore be subjected to a high level of humidity and salinity, with the introduction of molecules that exponentially increase resistance to these agents. This treatment is also applied to the automotive sector as a greater guarantee of strength and durability of the product
